Producing Corporate Content in three Languages.

Rotoplastics, a Trinidad and Tobago based plastics manufacturer, recently contacted Basillai Entertainment to produce a business feature for use in their thrust to enter new markets, it required producing content that could be viewed in English, French and Spanish speaking markets. The task required filming at the company’s factory, in full view of the open flames used and the manufacturing process and the numerous trucks that were there to deliver material or collect finished products, making shooting a fast pace and exciting exercise.

Scripting, translation, and shooting all happened concurrently, with the shot list focusing more on the range of items made, rather than the production process itself, and employee interviews were swapped out in lieu of working and action shots of the staff engaged in everything, from support to quality assurance of each item made.

Marketing Coordinator Aliyah David, contacted us with the vision of having the feature appeal to their existing clientele, as well as be a functional tool in the brands’ entry into new markets throughout the region. Working closely with Aliyah, we were able to bring filming down to approximately three days and captured the energy of the production process, without hindering the tight schedules that are inherent when working with hot plastics. Adding multilingual productions to our list of services we offer in the area of corporate video, is a key step to increasing our ability to service the Corporate, Commercial and Government based clients throughout the Caribbean and Latin American Basin a goal of Basillai Entertainment for the coming years.

Leveraging advancements in digital production, our turn around on this key feature of this production was both efficient and authentic to the needs of the markets to which they were targeted, as voice overs, filming, editing and client proofing were all executed at various locations and delivered digitally. For the future, we expect to continue to identify the needs of the client and maintain a firm position between the client, the content and the technology required to deliver to client expectations.
